Christmas Resolutions

What’s coming up on Fat and Proud

It’s the time of year when food is judged by volume more than quality, when every meal is a glistening, greasy banquet, and seconds (and thirds) a mere formality … it’s a mine-field of fattening treats, and is here for you.  In the next week, we will be publishing a series of articles on food and culinary healthiness.  We’ll suggest low-fat alternatives to traditional Christmas foods, with a recipe-swapper and some full recipes for seasonal treats.

Following the advent blow-out, we’ll move into January with a New Year’s Resolutions special, featuring articles on gym membership, general healthy eating and exercise for the ample.

So bookmark us today, and we’ll guide you through this tricky time of year and get to 2010 with our waistlines intact!

On top of all this, Christmas sees the beginning of our humorous ongoing features – first up, the 12 Tubs of Christmas, a cut out and keep guide to twelve of history’s most notable fat people, and then, from January 1st, the Diary of Barry Jones, the tragicomic scribblings of a large man trapped in a skinny world.
